Member Search/Directory
The Member Search and Member Directory features are designed to help users find specific members or search for members based on specific criteria.
Member Name Search: Located under the Members Area Features on the main menu, this search tool allows users to enter a member's first name, last name, or business name (or a partial name) to find matching members. The search results will display a list of members that match the entered criteria.
Member Directory: The Member Directory feature is primarily used by organizations in Business mode. It can be accessed from the organization's website or within the members area by selecting Member Directory under Members Area Features. Users can perform searches in the directory based on categories, business names, keywords, or view all businesses. To access the directory, go to Configuration > System Links > 1. Member Directory > 1.1 Responsive (Bootstrapped).
In the General Configuration settings, administrators have the option to enable the 'Use Contact Form in Directory' feature. When this option is selected, members' email addresses will be hidden in the directory, and users can send emails to members through a contact form within the system.
