Coupon System - Help Guide

The MMS provides powerful features for managing member coupons and special offers in various locations. Here's how you can effectively utilize the coupon system:

Types of Coupons:

1. Text Coupon: Composed entirely of text information.

2. Graphic and Text Coupon: Contains a small graphic image (e.g., logo) in the upper left-hand corner along with text information.

3. Large Graphic Coupon: Displays a large graphic image at the top with text information underneath.

4. Graphic Coupon: Consists solely of a graphic image without any text information.

Using the System:

- Adding a Coupon:

1. Access the admin interface and open the member's record in change mode.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "EcTown Launch Page: click here to edit EcTown info."

3. Choose the "Traffic Catcher Site Center" option, followed by "Coupon Creator for Local Directory and Search Engine."

4. Click on "Add Coupon" and enter the necessary details, such as the start date and publishing options.

5. Provide a title and description for the coupon, along with any desired disclaimers.

6. If applicable, upload an image for the coupon.

7. Click "Continue" to add the coupon to the member's list.

- Viewing Coupons:

1. Coupons with the "web/email" publishing option will appear on the Chamber's web directory search page, member directory, and member traffic catcher pages.

2. The Chamber's "Searchable Directory" page includes a special offer button to access a listing of coupons.

3. A "special offer" icon is displayed next to a member's directory listing if they have an active coupon. Clicking on the icon opens the coupon details.

4. The member's Traffic Catcher page provides a link to their coupons/special offers.

- Managing Coupons:

1. Use the "Coupon Report" on the Quick Reports menu in the admin interface to manage coupons.

2. The report and the "view coupons" option can be filtered by coupon category, start date, expiration date, or active status.

3. The "print version" option removes header and footer information, allowing the coupon display to be inserted into email messages or web pages.

4. Coupon images can be copied or saved for other purposes.
