Submitting Classified Ads - User Guide


Admin-level users have the ability to add, change, and delete ads using the Classified Ad editor at any time. This gives you full control over the content and ensures that ads are up to date.


For member-level users, there's an option available through MMS Configuration to enable ad submissions from the members' area. This allows members to submit their own ads conveniently. Additionally, you can place a link on the public side (outside the members' area) to allow both members and non-members to submit ads.


When a member or non-member submits an ad, it is initially placed in a "pending" status. This triggers a notification email to be sent to the classified ad editor. The editor can then review the ad and determine if it meets the guidelines and requirements. If the ad is deemed acceptable, the editor can change its status from "pending" to "active" to make it visible to the public.
