Classified Ad Editor - User Guide


The Classified Ad editor is a powerful tool that allows admins to manage classified ads in the members' area. You can add, change, or delete ads to keep the content up to date and relevant.


Adding a Classified Ad:


To add a new ad, simply click on the "Add a Classified Ad" link in the Classified Ad editor. You'll be presented with several fields to fill in:


- Title: Enter a catchy title for your ad.

- Details: Describe the item or service you're offering in detail.

- Contact Email, Home Phone, Work Phone: Provide your contact information for interested buyers to reach out.

- Website Address: If you want to include a website URL in your ad, you can enter it here.

- Post Date: Specify the date when the ad will start appearing (it will default to the current date).

- Expiration Date: Choose the date when the ad will be automatically removed (it will default to 90 days in the future).


Changing an Ad:


If you need to update an existing ad, simply locate the ad you want to modify and click on the "change" link. You'll be redirected to the same page where you can edit the information as needed.


Deleting an Ad:


To remove an ad, click on the "delete" link next to the ad you wish to delete. This action will permanently remove the ad from the system.
