Managing Features in the Mobile App - Help Guide

Features in the Mobile App are advanced content pages that offer special functionality to interact with the MMS database and provide dynamic content to users. To effectively manage features, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Mobile App Menu Builder Page

Go to the Mobile App Menu Builder page within the system. Look for the appropriate link or menu option to access this page.

Step 2: Adding a New Feature

To add a new feature, click the "Feature" link on the Mobile App Menu Builder page. This will direct you to the add/edit page for "Feature" content.

Step 3: Editing an Existing Feature

If you want to modify an existing feature, locate the specific feature in the menu list and click the "Pencil" icon next to it. This will allow you to edit the feature's details.

Step 4: Customize Feature Details

On the add/edit page for "Feature" content, you will find various fields and options. Follow the steps below:

- Select the desired feature from the drop-down menu provided.

- Enter the menu text/name to display for the feature in the app's menu.

- Determine whether you want to assign the feature to a specific category (if applicable).

- Select the appropriate permission level for accessing the feature.

- Click the "continue >>" button to proceed.

Step 5: Additional Feature Pages (if applicable)

Some features may have additional pages where you will be prompted to select or enter specific information. However, most features are straightforward and require only one step, as indicated in the example above.

Step 6: Save Changes

Remember to save your changes or updates before exiting the page to ensure that your modifications are applied correctly.
