Mobile Push Notifications - Help Guide

Mobile push notifications are an optional feature that can be added to your mobile app. Enabling this feature allows you to send messages to users who have installed the app on their devices. Please note that adding this feature may require approximately 2 hours of billable time.

Here's what you need to know about mobile push notifications:

1. Sending Messages: With push notifications enabled, you can send messages to individual app users or broadcast them to all devices that have the app installed. It's important to note that the ability to target specific users' devices is only available if they have logged in to the app using their username and password. If a user has not logged in, they will still receive push notifications, but only those sent to all devices with the app.

2. Display on Devices: Push notifications appear on the user's device, whether the app is running or not. If the app is not currently active, clicking on the push notification will launch the app and display the relevant content or message. The purpose of push notifications is to encourage app usage and engagement. For event-based apps, such as conference apps, push notifications are a convenient way to quickly communicate with conference attendees.

To enable or manage push notifications for your mobile app, please follow the instructions provided in the app management system or consult our help desk for further assistance.
