Mailing Labels & Avery Forms

The MMS offers a convenient feature for printing labels and name badges using standard Avery Forms. This process utilizes PDF files. However, it's important to note that Acrobat Reader may alter the printing position and stretching based on your Reader settings.

To overcome this issue, you can make adjustments within the MMS Configuration and Quick Reports & Reporting Configuration. These settings allow you to fine-tune the printing position on the page and make vertical adjustments if needed. It may require some trial and error, so we recommend printing the first page on regular paper and comparing it to your Avery forms held up to the light. Based on the results, you can make adjustments and repeat the process.

If the addresses appear misaligned at the top, bottom, or middle of the label as you move down the page, it indicates a vertical scaling problem. To resolve this, you'll need to adjust the scaling factor up or down until all addresses are consistently printed across the page.

If all the addresses are misaligned, either falling off the top or bottom of the label, it indicates a vertical offset issue. In this case, you can adjust the offset up or down until the addresses are centered within the label.

If you're experiencing both problems, it's recommended to correct the vertical scaling issue first and then adjust the offset.

Mailing Label Notes:

You have the option to include Employer (Business Name) and Position in the mailing label. Please refer to the MMS Configuration and Quick Reports & Reporting Configuration for instructions on how to enable this feature.

For most organizations, Labels II output is ideal.

For small organizations where members are individuals (not businesses) and a second address line is not required, Labels I output is suitable.
