Packages
When attendees register for an event, they have the option to choose from different packages that you offer. These packages can have different prices based on various factors such as membership status, early registration discounts, or different attendee types (e.g., presenters vs. regular attendees).
Please note that each event registration must have at least one package. Even if there are no fees associated with the event, you'll need to set up a $0 package to proceed.
For more complex events that involve additional costs beyond the base prices, you can use custom fields to implement add-on amounts. Checkbox and drop-down fields can be used to offer these additional options.
Packages can have different cut-off dates for registration, such as an early registration package with an early cut-off date. Additionally, packages can have different start dates. For example, you can have an early bird package and a regular package. To link them together, you can set the cut-off date for the early bird package and give the regular package a start date that matches the cut-off date of the early bird package. This way, the early bird package will be available until the cut-off date, after which it will be replaced by the regular package.
On this page, you'll find options to add, change, or delete packages for the event. To adjust the order in which the packages are presented, simply click, drag, and drop the package to the desired position in the list.
To add a new package, click on the "Add New Package" link. On the following page, provide the Package Name, Description, Cost, and optionally, a cut-off date. If the cut-off date has passed, registrants will no longer be able to select that package on the package selection page.
You can also set a limit on the number of attendees who can choose a specific package. If you enter a value in the "Openings Available" field, once that limit is reached, the package will no longer be selectable on the package selection page, and a message indicating that the package has reached its attendee limit will be displayed.
Furthermore, you have the flexibility to define the audience for each package. You can make a package open to everyone, guests only, board members only, or members only. If you choose to make the package available to members only, you can even specify which member types can access it. If these options are not currently available to you, please contact our support team, and we will enable them for you.
Repeat the process to add additional packages as needed.
