Internal Social Network (Private) - Help Guide

Your service includes a private social network that is exclusive to your organization's members. This means you can have social networking within your organization while ensuring it remains limited to members only. Originally designed for business networking organizations, this private social network offers features specifically focused on passing business leads to other members. It also includes a point system that rewards participation in lead passing and building relationships within the group (friends).

While the network is primarily intended for members only, there is an option to allow non-members to sign up with limited access (read-only) to the network. This feature is meant to encourage non-members to join the network.

To access the private social network after logging in, simply click on the icon or option labeled "Social Network." This will take you to the main page, which consists of three columns.

The left column contains menu options such as a friends list and a friend invitation tool. You'll also find duplicated options from the "My Membership" area, allowing you to update your profile and photo information. The friends list enables members to pass leads and send private messages to their friends.

The center column features the stream, where you can see all the posts made by other members. It also includes a message box where you, as a member, can make your own posts. Each post in the stream is accompanied by buttons that allow you to pass leads to the member, send them a private message, or add them as a friend.

The right column includes a feedback box where you can send comments to systems engineering. Additionally, there's a leaderboard that displays the top point winners in the system. Points are awarded nightly based on activities such as passing leads, making friends, and engaging in other relationship-building activities within the group.
