The Message function is used to communicate with proposal submitters.

Page 1:

- The first page displays previous messages sent within the last 30 days.

- You can create new messages by clicking the "Send New Message" link.

- To edit previous messages, click on the "re-send" link.

Page 2:

- In the Message feature's second page, you can enter the name and email address of the sender, along with the subject line and body of the email.

Page 3:

- The third page is for selecting recipients.

- The first box allows you to choose primary presenters/submitters by their name and/or email address from a list of all proposals.

- The second item is a select box where you can choose all submitters/primary presenters who have submitted proposals within a specific topic/committee.

- The third item is a select box that lets you select submitters whose proposals have received a particular final status assigned by admin.

- You can combine the second and third boxes (topic/committee and final status) to email specific submitters. For example, you can send instructions to all presenters who have submitted proposals in topic #1 and have been accepted by admin, regarding their scheduled presentations.

- On the fourth page of the message system, you can review the recipients of the email, as well as the subject and body of the message, before sending it.
