Managing Volunteer Permissions
Volunteer permissions can be assigned to individual members based on their administrative roles. There are two types of admin permissions within the volunteer module:
1. Overall Volunteer Module Admin:
- Members with overall admin permissions have full access to all functions and features of the volunteer module.
- They can manage permissions for other members, create new volunteer sessions, add members to time slots, and perform various administrative tasks.
2. Session-Specific Admin:
- Members with session-specific admin permissions have editing rights limited to the specific volunteer session(s) they are assigned to.
- They cannot edit sessions they are not assigned to, nor can they modify permission settings for other members.
- Volunteer coordinators, when assigned to a session, automatically receive admin rights for that session.
If a regular member is granted any admin rights within the volunteer module, a corresponding link will appear for them on the main volunteering member page, providing access to the relevant administrative functions.
Please note that volunteer admin permissions allow members to assist in managing the volunteer module effectively. If you have any questions or require assistance with volunteer permissions, please reach out to our help desk. We are here to support you!
