Creating Surveys - User Guide
To create surveys, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Accessing the Surveys Menu
1. From the main menu, go to the Administrative Functions section and select "Surveys."
2. You will be directed to a menu where you can add, change, or delete surveys.
Step 2: Adding a New Survey
1. To create a new survey, click on "Add New Survey."
2. Follow the prompts as you proceed through a series of pages.
Page 1: General Info
1. Enter the survey name, a brief description, begin and end dates, and other optional settings.
2. Setting a Survey Begin Date or Survey End Date specifies when the survey will start and end.
3. Thank You Page Redirect URL: Enter the URL where members will be directed after completing the survey.
4. Single Pass checkbox: Check this option to prevent members from changing their answers once submitted.
5. Paid Members Only: If your organization has free and paid memberships, checking this option ensures only paying members can take the survey.
6. Notify Respondents: Check this box to send the survey results to members who participate.
Page 2: Questions
1. On this page, compose your survey questions by clicking on "Add New Question."
2. Choose the question type: Multiple Choice, Yes/No, Text Field, Numerical Rating, Multiline Text, or Verbiage Field.
3. If you select Multiple Choice, you can specify whether respondents can make one selection, a specific number of selections, or unlimited choices.
4. Enter the question verbiage and, if applicable, edit the choices for Multiple Choice questions.
5. To delete or change a question, use the provided options to the right of each question.
6. Use the "move up" and "move down" links to reorder the presentation of questions.
