The Website Content Manager is a powerful tool that allows you to manage the content of your website. With the Website Content Manager, you can easily edit the text on your pages and organize your navigation menu.
Getting started with the Website Content Manager:
When you access the Website Content Manager, you'll see two buttons at the top: "Add New Page" and "Add New Link." Below the buttons, you'll find a table that displays all the pages associated with your website.
Understanding the table of pages:
The table of pages in the Website Content Manager is structured to match your navigation system. Each page is listed vertically, and if a page is a sub-page of another page, it will be indented underneath its parent page.
Important information in the table:
1. Page Name: This column displays the name of each page, which also appears in your navigation system. You can click on the page name to visit the page for testing purposes.
2. File Name: In the File Name column, you'll find three key pieces of information. For pages, the second piece of information is the name of the file. For links, it will be the full link address. The third piece of information indicates how the page interacts with the navigation system. "(hidden)" means the page is available to everyone but not shown in the navigation. If you have Members-Only options enabled, you may also see "Members Only - grayed" or "Members Only - hidden" here.
3. Actions: The Actions column provides options for managing each page. The pencil icon allows you to edit a page, while the red X button marks a page for removal. The blue arrows let you rearrange the order of pages in the navigation.
