Event Registration - RSVP - Help Desk Version

RSVP (Response Requested) is different from registering for an event. It's a way for attendees to declare their intention to attend or not. Here's how you can enable and manage RSVPs for an event:

1. Enable RSVP Option: In the event's Advanced Options, you can include the RSVP option for invitations. Look for the setting called "Include RSVP Option in Invitations for this Event" and check the box to enable it.

2. Sending Invitations: To send invitations with the RSVP option, use the 'invt' link next to the event name on the main event listing. The email sent will automatically include the RSVP link, which will be replaced with an individualized link for each recipient. You can adjust the placement and customize the default language for this link in the global event registration configuration.

3. Managing RSVPs: If you want to prevent people who RSVPed 'No' from receiving future event-related emails, make sure to initiate the email from event registration by clicking the 'invt' link next to the event. This will exclude anyone who RSVPed 'No' from receiving the email.

4. RSVP Notification: When someone RSVPs, they will receive a notification email confirming their response. This notification email can also be sent to any designated notification email addresses set up for the event. You can customize the content of this email in the global event registration configuration.

5. Viewing RSVPs: To view the RSVPs for an event, click the 'rsvp' link next to the event name on the main event list. This will provide you with a list of attendees and their RSVP status.

Remember, RSVP is just an indication of intent to attend or not and is separate from the actual event registration process.
